Children in Need Fund Donation:
In the summer of 2001, West Texas Centers (WTC) established a “Children In Need Fund” to assist children and adolescents receiving mental health services that have limited resources within their own families. The fund is set up to help families with costs outside the ordinary day to day living expenses. To date, the fund has been able to pay for things such as: New School Clothes; School Supplies and Specialized Camp Tuition.
All requests for expenditures are initiated through WTC staff and are considered and processed through the same review process. 100% of donated funds are distributed directly to children and their families. The fund is a resource for any child/adolescent receiving mental health services in the WTC service area which includes 23 West Texas counties.
