Provides program oversight to ensure all SAMHSA and State of Texas (HHSC) standards, certifications, and licensures are adhered to.
Complete SPARS Annual Goals training and ensure that all NOMS data is appropriately and completely entered into SPARS.
Will ensure appropriate data is entered into CMBHS and ensure all documentation into CMBHS is accurate and timely.
Responsible for applying for grants, securing additional sources of funding, ensuring compliance with Medicaid, Medicare and other insurance regulations.
Responsible for hiring and overseeing staff and conducting staff meetings.
Provide clinical supervision of substance abuse professionals.
Supervision of all Recovery Coaches/Peer Providers and program support staff.
Responsible for all reporting to the State of Texas and SAMHSA reports required.
Community outreach may include educating communities about substance abuse prevention and other related issues, speak at public engagements and represent West Texas Centers on local committees and or community advisory councils.
Provides training about substance abuse disorders, prevention and intervention resources to other WTC staff.
Responsible for making case assignments and for monitoring the completion of services to meet performance contract standards.
Utilizes service provider profiles to monitor staff time utilization and responsible for record reviews to maintain quality assurance.
Completes other administrative functions such as budget management and maintaining office supplies.
Duties of the position will require frequent interactions with individuals served, their families, and other service providers.
Requires flexible hours, involves extensive paperwork, and will require self-directed performance.
Travel and the use of a personal vehicle are required. Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and a driving record that is acceptable for insurability through the Center’s insurance carrier.
